Sun set at noon, Joseph Oladapo Idowu's journey to the great beyond is a big loss to many of us. My uncle, my benefactor and helper; Dapo Idowu is not dead because he lives in our heart. The loss of Mr. Dapo Idowu is a big one for all of us, particularly, those of us who worked with him. A gentle, very wise, kind and generous man he would sit down quietly and gently intervene in our sometimes heated debates. No doubt, a man with loads of experience in the banking sector. He supplied most of us with gums to either keep awake during long nights or to warm your mouth. I remember that I once saw a half-shoe on him and i said he should tell me where he got it. He took me to the store in Abuja and paid for the pair that i bought. He was one person who helped with my transportation needs when I newly came to Abuja and offered to help me move my car from Abeokuta to Abuja. He was always neatly and smartly dressed. Coincidentally, my first son is Oladapo and Mr. Idowu liked the young man when he met him. We are also both from Ogun State. Mr. Idowu actually had a plan to build a small country home in Sagamu, Ogun State and i was trying to link him with the state property company. Tight Homecoming Dresses 2020

I wish it is never true..
I wish death was on holiday on 25th November,2017; surely I have lost an irreplaceable patient turned father. I lost my God sent angel who was ever ready to give me a lift and encourage my dreams. Your generous lifestyle has become my model to follow, your words are golden in my heart forever.

Mr Dapo Idowu's life was the definition of the word selfless as he placed people and their need before himself or his, he was not just a father but also a mentor as he knew how and when to make or execute a decision, he was wise as his advice had no flaw. It was like he was a literal descendant of Solomon, he was smart and articulate, he was calm as a dove and loving as a true Christian, he was godly, he was the Jesus alot of people knew, he always gave ear to those who needed one and a hand of help was never far away, from the little time I spent around him I learnt alot and one thing I picked from him is"humility is priceless".
