We are excited to bring the Joy for Life retreat to Thailand this April. Coincidently, the dates of this event coincide with the very peak of fruit season in Thailand. So if you aren’t terribly excited about eating oranges, and would like to get your fill of countless exotic wild fruits, such as fresh durians (also known as “the King of fruits), jackfruits, cherimoyas, coconuts, mangosteens, papayas, rose apples, sapodillas, zalaccas, sour sops, rambutans, and much more, then this retreat is for you!
Besides enjoying extraordinary healing foods, the Joy for Life Retreat will offer the opportunity for participants to experience deep emotional healing through 'The Work', with Tom Compton. The Work is a simple yet powerful process of inquiry that teaches you to identify and question thoughts that cause all the suffering in the world. It's a way to understand what's hurting you, and to address your problems with clarity. This daily process will be accompanied by a variety of classes from the Raw Family. Victoria will share her latest research and views on nutrition in the modern world. You can expect entertaining green smoothie prep demonstrations from Valya Boutenko and hands on wild edible identification expeditions led by Sergei Boutenk. Each morning starts with yoga taught by Brianna Lecher, and we have arranged to visit a number of sites to make the most of this interesting location.
Experience the beauty of Thailand, meet new friends, cleanse your body with green smoothies and many delicious and nutritious fruits, relax in a peaceful environment, and learn about nutrition, in a week of healing and revitalization.
This exciting retreat is filling up quick, but there are still a few spots available. If you are interested in participating in this event, please visit www.joyforlifetreat.com for more information and to register.
