May Flower Green Smoothie
Recording of Webinar with Victoria

May Flower Green Smoothie

Dear Friends,

We would like to inspire you to make more green smoothies with wild edibles at this time of year. Here is a simple recipe I have prepared today. Since it contained lots of Miner's Lettuce flowers, I called it a May Flower Green Smoothie.

These are the weeds I picked from my back yard today: dandelions, miner’s lettuce, malva, and three leaves of wild lemon balm, to add a minty flavor to my drink.

Fresh Green Smoothie Greens
Ingredients:
Weeds from your garden – 2-3 large handfuls (make sure they are all edible)
Strawberries – 1 quart
1 ripe banana (optional)
Water – 2-3 cups

Blend well and enjoy!

Recording of Webinar with Victoria

Our first webinar went fine, although a couple of people had technical difficulties. We are going to try another hosting company for the next webinar (to be announced soon).

We decided to let everyone watch the recording of our first webinar at no charge.

We apologize for accidentally cutting off the first minute of the webinar. During that first minute I introduced Tasia, my daughter-in-law, and then she read the first question: “Why are greens are so nutritious?”

The duration of the recording is 59 minutes.

Here is some feedback we received:

I loved the webinar. Very informative and got me excited to return to green smoothies again! (Thank you). I watched on my iPad which was clear, some delay on video but sound was perfect.  –J.H.

I am so glad I was able to take part in the Webinar.  It was well worth staying up until 1am here in England.
I did not know what the format would be.  I thought members of the audience might speak at your request but I think your format was best because you were able to give us as much information as possible in the time available.
I was pleased to hear that it is the fruit and starch combination which causes fermentation, that only 1 lb of greens are needed if you have smoothies and that bananas, strawberries and mango have soluble fibre.  I think I may have missed one or two points because you speak quickly.
I didn't have my questions answered but I am sure that you will cover the in another Webinar.  I would like to take part again. –Y.M.

Thanks so much for the Webinar.  I very much enjoyed your comments about your Retreats and the ratios of Greens to Fruits you use during those events.  I also learned a great deal from you about Wild Edibles, and I'm going to watch Sergei's videos to learn more.
I could hear you and your daughter in law clearly; the event began on time.  The only thing that was not quite up to par was the Buffering/Service Provider for your Image
I hope you offer more of these Sessions, and take more questions.  Thank you.  –A.M.

Sincerely,
Raw Family
