Super Economical Green Smoothie
This is a recipe from Victoria’s new eBook that is coming next week.

Garden Weed Trio Recipe

1 bunch dandelions
1 handful malva (view nutrition highlights below)
1 handful miner’s lettuce (view nutrition highlights below)
1 ripe pear (pits and stem removed)
1 ripe apple (pits and stem removed)
2 ripe bananas (peeled)
2-3 cups water
Blend well.

Yields 2 quarts

Miners Lettuce

Approximate cost:
dandelions – free!
malva – free!
miner’s lettuce – free!
1 apple - $0,49
1 pear – $0.70
2 bananas -$0.40
water, filtered - $0.25
Total:  $1.84 for 2 quarts of green smoothie

Malva, also known as Mallow is rich in nutrition. According to the USDA, 100 grams of mallow leaves contains 249 milligrams of calcium, 69 milligrams of phosphorus, 2,190 international units of vitamin A, and 35 milligrams of vitamin C.
