This really is the best. When we met our pediatrician for the required prenatal visit and he asked about breastfeeding, I said "I'm definitely going to try!" When we got in the car Ed (bless him, my sweet, innocent, now psycho protective dad of two girls husband) said "What do you mean TRY?! You're gonna breast feed right?!" online sale wedding items in Canada
"Just wait" I said, having seen friends go through it. He had NO IDEA what was coming.
Labor? Schmabor. Breastfeeding remains the hardest thing I've do ... ne, to date, in my life. I was able to get Evy to 14 months, but not without pain, dietary restrictions to the point of sheer lunacy, 4 rounds of full on mastitis (which has symptoms almost identical to the flu, if the flu was also simultaneously stabbing you in the teet).
And A LOT of moms don't have the support I have, or the luxury of a private, locking office with a fridge, or they have other young kids.
We'll see how I do with number two but unless Ed starts to lactate then heaven help me ... I will not hesitate to switch to formula if I need to. And if you think breast is best? No mama.
