In 1994 the Victoria, Sergei, and Valya Boutenko experienced an intense decline in their health. After switching to a healthful way of eating, they were able to regain vibrant health. Since that time the Boutenko's have been dedicated to helping people around the globe learn about natural healing and nutrition.

What is the Lethal White Gene?

This gene comes from 2 guinea pigs whether roan or dalmation being bred together, this in turn causes this gene to pass through to the babies. The babies may die in utero, after birth, hours, days, weeks etc. some may have no eyes, blind, deaf, no teeth/teeth problems, neurological problems, suffer seizures along with various other health issues. selections in orange for prom party

Please do not breed guinea pigs if you are unsure of the colouring of your piggies, haven't bred before, you don't know the family history.
Either purchase guinea pigs from a reputable breeder or give some rescue piggies a home.

No not every white guinea pig is a lethal there are plenty of healthy white piggies it's a small percentage that are lethal's.
