Melon Candy Smoothie
This sweet smoothie tastes like candy, and has a soft, alluring fragrance.
Ingredients:
½ a melon (cantaloupe or other)
10 dates
1 cup blueberries (optional)
Instructions: Cut a melon in half, and scoop the seeds out with a spoon. Removing the rind as you go, cut up one of the halves and place it in the blender. Add dates, removing the pits. The blueberries are an optional ingredient because they change the color of the smoothie from orange to purple. If you would like to retain the bright orange color of this smoothie, leave the blueberries out, but if the color of the smoothie is not important to you than add them in, they make a nice addition. Blend thoroughly.
